It's possible cause we are unstable at QB and o-line. Imagine when Penn goes down cause he ain't lasting 16 games. There is no margin for error on the o-line. One or two injuries and it can be catastrophic for an average offense and a below average Keenum.
With a season of injuries from hell last year, Gruden still pulled out 7 wins. Maybe it's possible we get 5 or less wins, but to predict that you basically have to believe that our defense is going to give up the ghost right away and that we will lose half our line in the first 8 games.

People keep talking about our running game. Yes, I love Guice and AP. But every team we play is going to stack 8 guys in the box until we prove two things:
1. Keemun can throw to our WR group who the NFL thinks is the worst in the league. Without a lot of INT
2. The OL can protect Case while he passes.
AP and Guice are going to run into a wall of players until Case opens it up.
7-9

Dont know the game to game, but based on the team under Grudens entire tenure....8-8.

I'm going 7-9 as well...while I think the defense will keep us in some games to win, I think there will be games where teams will jump out to a lead and the offense will struggle to score period, let alone come from behind. You cannot forget all those games last year when teams scored on the defense at will with their passing game. I desperately hope they prove me and a lot of us wrong! HTTR

Without TW the OL is dependent on Penn playing well and staying healthy for 16 games. Still 7-9 and hope I am wrong!

Week 1 (Sept. 8): at Philadelphia Eagles, 1 p.m. ET (Fox)
W Case has a chip going back to Philadelphia and Gruden wins his second opening day in 2 years
I do admire your optimism, but just thought you should know that Vegas lines indicate Philly is the most heavily favored team out of all 16 games in week 1.

I generally split NFC East matchups (except I think I had us beating you guys twice, cuz without Zeke your offense is drab)
Because they are looking at the team from last season's results and trying to factor in the changes. But last season's results for us vs philly were skewed by the loss of our QB, and CB's.
I am optimistic about the year even without TW, I think our running game will be so strong, Keenum will thrive with play action and reverse rollouts.
I could be wrong.
