I know this sounds crazy.. here goes ..jay and the whole crew gets axed and we end up with the worse record in nfl .. number one pick .. new GM and coach can’t resist Tua .. we take him and trade Haskins for a number one and reboot .. I know you guys think that’s crazy but I could happen ...😀

That already happened in Arizona, except they got a #2 for Rosen instead of a #1. As a UCLA fan I was never impressed with Rosen, but you have to feel bad for the guy. He gets picked by the worst team in the league, which happens with QBs, but then is kicked to the gutter in one year and traded to the new worst team that may go 0-16.

This team may have to have a winless or the second worst record this season to get Snyder to make major changes like replacing Bruce Allen or hiring a REAL GM who has the power to change this team’s losing culture.

Vegas Insider has next week's NFL lines up already. They had the Skins opening as a 6 1/2 point road favorite at Miami but it has moved to 5 points. No matter how hard the Redskins try to lose they will beat Miami.

As long as Jay Gruden and Gregg Manusky are coaches for this franchise, this team could lose, even to Miami. Gruden is tanking to get fired and Manusky is just plain incompetent.

Players like Scherff are getting “injured” because he knows he’ll be on another team next year. Others will follow.

What's your evidence for that?

Scherff has played through numerous, bad injuries throughout his college and pro career.

He has been recognized by every coach he has played for since Iowa as unbelievably tough, even playing the same week as having a surgical procedure on his knee in college.

If word got out that he was faking an injury, (which is contrary to his entire football playing history) it would arguably hurt his market value more than being dinged up after the season.

would be funny as hell if the redskins and dolphins game ends in a tie

If that were to happen and they both end up 0-15-1 what is the tie breaker to see who gets first draft pick? Would it be points for, points against? Obviously all the other standards that could be applied would be the same, as conference record, head to head, common opponents, etc, etc. Dolphins have a major head start trying to lose the points for points against battle.

The Redskins had the most injured players that last TWO SEASONS. Partly due to poor conditioning and soft practices. But one also suspects that some players use the opportunity of a losing season, on a losing franchise to perhaps “exaggerate injuries to save themselves for next season”. Agreed that Scherff is tough and plays hurt. I withdraw my statement about Scherff, but still submit that some players will use the closing culture of this Redskins to exaggerate injuries.

BTW, Callahan is having players doing post-practice sprints to toughen then up!
