Players I particularly want to see perform this week:
-Haskins (no kidding)
-Nicholson (we're not that set at safety and he needs to build his confidence back, the pick 6 last week was a good step in that direction)
-Wes Martin (wouldn't it be nice to have a clear cut winner in that LG spot battle?)
-Penn (wouldn't it be nice to have a clear cut winner in that LT spot battle?)

My theory: they're keeping him under wraps because they think he's a stud and they don't want him showing up on preseason tape.
Yep, that's what I said last week in the Cincy thread. If we don't see much of McLaurin , it's because he is already considered the #1 based on his performance thus far, and he is getting the WR1 preseason treatment.
I hope that 's the case.

Quinn and Richardson are already hurt and neither has played a pre season game.

It seems like Jay's plan all PS was to keep the starters out 90% of the time. I'm ok with it, I mean we know PRICH will only play like 7 games max anyway, Quinn HAS to stay healthy , if he goes down again this yr it's time to move on in 2020.

It's how they were hurt that worries me. Quinn suffered a sprain when a butterfly landed on his thumb and Richardson was knocked down by a 12 mph wind gust and hurt when he landed on a feather pillow.
But don't worry, they'll be good to go for the opening game. Now, Game 2 is another matter - I don't think we can count on their availability for that one. Plus, Doctson will probably have a boo-boo by then and be held out as well.
By then Gruden should be forced to play the men we really want to see: Terry McLaurin, Cam Simms, Kelvin Harmon, and Robert Davis.

Out of concern for the mental health of all Redskins fans, I'm begging you not to watch the O-Line play in this game. And, whatever else you do, do not look at the O-Line Depth Chart. I can hardly believe we are about to start the season with this pathetic group! A move or multiple moves need to be made for OL help before the season starts.

I feel like that's best case scenario. Worst case scenario, he is actually injured and they're keeping it under wraps because our training/medical staff is already taking enough heat as it is.
This is a fair point and equally rational. I'm going to stick with the equally rational positive viewpoint until the Redskins give me my annual reason to abandon it.
That's rational, right?

It’s really amazing. Quinn couldn’t stay on the field last year. Both these guys are small and need to learn how to protect themselves better.
Preseason injuries and regular season injuries are completely different animals. Mclaurin and Quinn would probably both be able to play if it was the season right now. Richardson is close.
