I never understood the furor over the name. I have never heard anyone use the word Redskin in public or private unless they were talking about the football team and I have been on the planet almost 60 years. Even if you go back to old Hollywood movies where almost all minorities are portrayed in a negative light you seldom hear Redskin used to refer to native Americans.

The name is going nowhere, as expected.

Irish, didn't we have a bet about the name? I think it was back in 2013 I said in 5 years the name would still be the same and you thought it would change. Trying to find our original conversation.

Time to put the racist stuff away

Some will never let it go, saw a guy with a poster CHANGE THE NAME!!! when I was leaving training camp yesterday. He had on a tshirt resembling the logo with a white guy instead of the Indian head with CAUCASIONS written on it.

I have been following this for years now and its bunch to do about nothing. They can't even get 10 people to come out to one of their protest. Not sure if this will bring an end to the Redskins fight.
