FrenchSkin 08-01-2019, 10:04 PM I’ve been searching and still see nothing reported. Neither Spotrac or Overthecap have it either. I agree this will tell us a lot.
Yep, that's were I started my "research" too... I was wondering if anybody had some deep twitter noise or anything... (getting antsy ^^)
WillH 08-01-2019, 10:37 PM According to Kevin Sheehan, they did tell him to get it checked out over the past couple years. They said it was a cyst and nothing to worry about, but he should still get it checked out.
I know what it feels like to have a cancer scare, a lot of people have been through that, but blaming other people is kind of an immature response, honestly. Dude needs to take responsibility for his own lack of concern. Instead, (if DHall's report was accurate) he is asking for potentially several people to lose their jobs, for not realizing it was more serious and urging him to have it taken care of (K. Sheehan).
I have a weird skin thing. Have had it for a couple years. My mom is an NP. I showed her and she said it's nothing, just a skin tag, but should probably get it checked out. Of course I had a dermatologist look at it. Now that's my mom, and not my employer's medical staff. She gave me life, she wants me healthy more than anyone. If I waited 2 years because she said it's probably nothing, and it turned out to be something, that's on me.
I feel y'all that this sucks. It's so fucking typical of the Redskins, but I can't pin it on the organization.
Now, maybe you could say that if Bruce were a better GM he might be able to fix this without overpaying for Trent to come back. Yeah, maybe... but for certain the reputation of the organization under his leadership makes it more difficult to smooth things over in this type of situation.
I feel for what Trent is going through, but honestly, if he's actually asking for others to lose their jobs and potentially hurt their careers irreparably because of his feelings, let al ok ne placing that guilt trip at their feet, than he's kinda being a dick... and I hate that'd this is happening, but at what point is his perspective on this going to be a problem in the locker room? Dude needs to go.
To finish my rant, I'm pissed to see how many people are so fucking willing to say fire these trainers and medical professionals they know nothing about because they want to keep their favorite player. That's super fucking ridiculous. If they're fired for performance, by all means, but not because the star player is blaming then for his cancer scare. They make not even a fraction of what that man does. He can go fucking console himself in his mansion for God's sake.

Bruce needs to be fired. Regardless of who’s fault this situation is, it’s been a nonstop cycle of drama, negativity, and turmoil under Bruce Allen’s watch. We’ve seen a massive exodus of staff, empty stadiums, one bad PR stunt after the other, and a losing record almost every year.
Bruce Allen is ultimately responsible for the performance of the organization aside from Snyder. Bruce Allen is the “neck to choke”.
Bruce Allen needs to go. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE has had enough.

Good points.
Plus, that so called D Hall "report" that TW wants the training staff fired is wayyy overblown IMO, if you listen to the actual video (https://youtu.be/Wg1lxWNhUaA?t=39) , it seems more like some words thrown in there to illustrate his point than an actual statement, the next question is "Does he just not want to be here?" D Hall answers "I don't think that's the case at all".
Warthog 08-01-2019, 11:47 PM According to another article, Trent isn’t even ready, medically or in NFL shape to practice yet.

Yes, but we're not seeing Alex or Guice going nuclear with the team.
Honestly, I'm done with Trent. Team needs to move on from him. I appreciate what he has been for the team, but I just don't see how the team can make him happy, and even if they team can make him happy, that could be detrimental to the team. I'd rather use that money to get Schreff's deal done.
I'm not dismissing the medical issue, but I agree with WillH that this is not completely on the organization. Also, I feel that Trent's people are using this to perhaps leverage money. If he's not, then Trent should f*cking up man up and speak about this instead of playing around like he wants more money.
I don't want to dismiss the dysfunction in the organization, but at the same time I'm sick of this bad luck shit that keeps happening to us.

Chico23231 08-02-2019, 11:04 AM 106.7 The Fan reports that holdout Redskins LT Trent Williams is "telling friends he's prepared to sit out the season."
Reporter Craig Hoffman also confirms that Williams requested a trade in June. Per Hoffman, the Redskins are "confused" by Williams' demands. He has reportedly "not demanded specific changes on the medical staff" and has been "silent in attempts to negotiate a new contract." It seems what Williams wants most of all is to get out of Washington. There has been zero indication the Redskins are considering accommodating him
Craig Hoffman, legit source imo
