Can't recall who in the media said it just recently but they said nobody in recent memory has looked worse in OTA's than Flowers. Dude is just garbage, get him the heck outta here.

He was brought in as a camp body just like we assumed, dude sucks. He won't make the team if Trent stays.

Lets also put it like this, if Trent is not there by week 1, we are doomed. He's the most valuable player on our offense and I ask anyone here to tell me why that is not the truth.

I know he's 31 but he still has 3-4 great years of ball left, it's not easy finding an ELITE Tackle, we have been lucky to do so over the years but that well will run dry soon.

Peters and Whitworth are both 37 and still playing well. Can't tell me Trent can't play well for at least the next 3 seasons. I'd look to give him a 2 year extension to resolve this mess but that's it.

I tend to lean towards not just giving Trent a really big extension as he has trended towards routinely missing a quarter of the season due to injury or suspension. I would rather pay the guy Schreff entering his prime.

Let the Trent situation die down a bit...add a year and some guaranteed money. If this is over several million from being a top 3 paid OT in the league...try to find away.

...Id would totally do what Sheehan suggested, call Donald Penn and do a one year deal soon and cut Flowers

Trent asked to be released.
Not sure why we are still talking about contracts.

I'm hopeful this is just a scare tactic to get the teams attention.
Someone needs to resolve the issues the players have with the medical staff.

Gruden needs to take charge of this situation.

We’re talking about contracts because what else is going to resolve it? A pat on the back and an apology?

Whenever it’s supposedly not about money, it’s about money

Gruden doesn't need to do shit, this is above is pay grade. In fact him having to face down the media about it is pretty shitty. As usual Bruce stays in the shadows on the tough issues, but hot damn he sure was out and about after the draft basking in the glow.

Trent has moved from weed to LSD if he thinks we giving him a straight release. He might as well retire... its not a serious option.

Trent wants some more cash.
