Yep it's starting to look like this announcement is just a show

He didn't say this in relation to Trent, specifically. Could be something else.

Also, other reporters on twitter are saying the Browns really aren't interested in Trent as much as has been reported the past couple weeks. I find that hard to believe, but it could be they have cooled off on Trent and are going after another LT since the Skins asking price is too high.

And to be fair, a first rounder is ALOT to ask for a 1-1/2 years of a 31 year old LT who misses on average 4 games per season and is one bad piss test away from a 1 year suspension. I mean, if the roles were reversed, and our team was considering trading FOR Trent, would you be ok with giving up a (likely) top 10 pick next year for him?

Easier to withhold judgement until 4 pm, we have the rest of our lives to call out Bruce for his incompetence running this team.

Remember when JLC said this would happen and we all clowned him for being a know nothing with an axe to grind?
