He's been average for like three years.
Your opinions on talent evaluation are no longer valid because anybody with two working eyes can see Trent is easily one of, if not the best player on this team.
His backup (in the event his backup is Ereck Flowers) also coincidentally happens to be one of the worst players on this team.

Being the best player on the team doesn't say a lot. Due to the fact that we've been losing since he's been here.

I don't recall hearing anything about the handling last year? What would he be that mad about?
If this is true, I'd tell him right now, you ain't getting traded or released so you can go sulk in the corner until you're ready to play. It's too late to replace our starting LT with anything near equal quality.

This strikes me as out of step with Trent's character.

Also, why would this come out now if this was such an issue? There are many reporters who would have jumped at this news before today.

Agree, the release of the info is conveniently timed. I think it's coming from the agent in an attempt to drive demand.
