Redskins coach Jay Gruden called Trent Williams the best left tackle in the game and said when he comes in he’ll be ready to go. Williams wasn’t at the mandatory minicamp workout today.

Do you see Trent not playing well this year? Next year? From what I have seen from Trent, I have no doubts he will continue to play well for next 2 years. Even at 75% capacity, he is still better than most tackles in NFL.He will play well? He is being paid well, he just got a new contract.

Will he be the best? Because that's how he wants to be paid.

He hasn't been. He has missed 13 games in the last 3 seasons.

Skins are bent over a barrel on this one and Trent and his agent know it. I don't see what choice they have - Gruden's offense completely falls apart without Trent. He and Scherff make a lot of Gruden's plays possible.

How many games will we win this year with him?

If he takes us from 4 wins to 6 or 7 wins then so what.

The Montez Sweat bandwagon continues to swell. Quinton Dunbar on the electric rookie outside linebacker: "He reminds me of a young Julius Peppers"

--It's possible nobody is having a worse minicamp than Ereck Flowers. After getting manhandled by Sweat last week, Flowers, playing at the left tackle position, was picked up and moved around like a piece of unwanted furniture throughout Tuesday's drills. Ryan Anderson will look like a Pro Bowler in the film room when the tape is reviewed. The Redskins, hopefully, are coming up with starting five combinations that don't involve counting on Flowers.

The day ended with a 2-minute drill, and Keenum's group had the best play of the day - a 50-yard bomb from Keenum to second-year Alabama receiver Cam Sims, who hauled it in for a touchdown

Sweat gets the Peppers comparison often, I hope he's as good as Julius

I honestly don't care about Ereck Flowers, but I am not going to get my hopes up or down for any player during OTAs and mini camps.

Early prediction which I've said since he got here, Flowers won't make the team.

Would be pretty sweet to get that few million he got just to be sitting on his ass during the season, lol.

I don't see what he does so well where he can demand more money. If he's not coming to camp we should trade him. That is if someone wants to pay and overpaid, overrated old man like him.
