He wasn't solid last year. They traded for Ha Ha because he wasn't solid.

This is a good ruling for him assuming the NFL won't still suspend him anyway. It lets him focus on football. But that doesn't mean he'll be good at it. He made a lot of mental mistakes last year and took poor angles. He'll need to be in the books and on the practice field to correct all of those things.

I think the nasty concussion he suffered on that Pierre Garçon hit got him scared. It felt like he was playing scared last year. I hope he can overcome that because he showed tremendous potential during his rookie season.

Hopefully Nicholson takes advantage of this opportunity. Skins could have easily moved on and nobody would have blamed them. He's got the chance to turn things around and earn a nice 2nd contract.

Very true, not everyone gets a 2nd chance.

How hard is it to stay out of trouble? I really don't understand how these millionaires keep finding themselves in trouble. Are they not smart enough to realize they have everything to lose by being a moron?

Montae has shown zero ability to stay healthy so he really can't be counted on.

I suppose this explains Redskins' lack of activity for FS players during the off-season? I really hope Nicholson will step up this year.

I doubt it. The lack of activity by Nicholson on the field leaves me with no confidence in the position. He had 0 interceptions and 1 PD last season..... slightly more than a dead man.

He was terrible last year, and yet he showed he can play in his first year. My best guess is he thought he could get by with his talents alone, so I'm hoping he woke up and recognize the reality.. Also, being with Collins in same room should benefit him. Like Matty said, Nicholson just got a 2nd chance and this year is his chance to prove he belongs to NFL. We can move on from him easily if he bombs this year.

I agree with this post. I think he has the talent to succeed. It's up to him to put in the work to succeed in the NFL. It takes both to make it. I can't be bothered with players who don't get it. If he makes the team, good for him. If not, AMF...adios.

There is still an outside chance Monte is suspended by the NFL...Honestly I hope if we don't add anyone else, that Everett is given a legitimate chance for the safety spot opposite Collins. Everett played well last year when given the opportunity. Does he have the range of Monte? No, but instincts and tackling seem better than Monte.
