Washington has said repeatedly that Haskins was their guy, but who truly believes this? Who thinks Washington would have taken Jones at 15 if he was there?

Not me. Haskins was the name they were most connected with in the process. Haskins is the better prospect than Jones.
I think Haskins was their guy all along, would they have considered Jones if he was there at 15 and Haskins wasn’t? Probably.

Who thinks we would be speaking German right now if we had lost WWII?
I'm not into revisionist history because it is meaningless.

Had the NYG taken Haskins I'm not so sure that Jones would have been the pick for Washington...I think they would have taken Sweat at #15 and Jones would have fallen...there's a strong possibility that Jones would have fallen to the Redskins at the #46 pick in this scenario.

I read an article that said the Midgets took Jones early because the Skins would of taken him at #15. I find that funny I think the Midgets are trying to save face. Jones might turn out to be a good even great QB but I'd like to believe we wouldn't be interested in him until at least the 3rd round IMO.
