I agree, the running game will make or break our season this year. We will use same formula last year before Smith broke his leg, which is a strong running game and strong defense. As long as our Oline and RBs stay healthy, I can see Redskins sneaking into playoffs.

Eagles and Boys will be solid, Giants are only as good as Barkley can carry them.

11 wins is the mark for a division crown, I'd say the Skins are most likely in the 7-9 win range again.

As much as it pains me to say, the Eagles are going to be nearly untouchable. DeSean Jackson gives them a lethal element, and they stabilized their running game with Jordan Howard, an extremely underrated acquisition.

All you can hope for is a Wentz injury, because there's no Foles to bail them out. But if Wentz plays, 12 wins is a lock.

Agree, I love what Philly has done. BUT... Will he stay healthy? I actually don't hate the Eagles like I do NY and Dal. We have a lead on them so that's probably why.

Everything I have read so far says that the Redskins season will be bad, and that the best cases would be a 7-9 record.

Personally I see no reason to throw Dwayne Haskins, your future, into a season that won't be successful.

I say give Dwayne Haskins at least a year and then start him next year.

I don't understand the logic of sitting him because you think the season will be bad. Putting aside that it's impossible to tell at this juncture -- a lot can and will happen between now and September -- I think you start whoever gives you the best chance to win. If we're starting Flowers at LT and the line becomes a horrible patchwork, maybe I'd be worried about my investment. But teams that draft QBs high are always bad the season before (hence, the high draft pick). Those QBs sit to learn the system and/or because they're not ready for prime time.

If Haskins checks those boxes, fine to start him from my perspective. Whenever he hits the field, I am excited to see what he can do. I like what I have heard so far.

From what we've been hearing Haskins has been real up and real down. These are controlled practices. Meanwhile NY is quietly gushing over Jones. Doesn't mean shit at this point but something to keep an eye on.

Hope that he can get that chance to start. Good luck!

Jay said the other day that when he's "on" he's as good as he's seen, also our defense is better than the Gmen, that helps Jones too.
