If we get a guard and a safety with those two picks in the fourth, this will be a good move. If both Samia and Jordan are gone by 112, this may come back to bite us.
Of course they will be gone. Big dropoff after them. Now best guard is Ben Powers. Thinking depth

My guess is they wanted McGovern taken by Dallas, but Samia is pretty good too. It is very had to get a starter in the 4th

Maybe they’re counting on cuts and some more FA after the draft...

13 picks (and a lot of hours) from our next pick. Please let Samia or Jordon last till then.

Best hope tomorrow
112 OG Michael Jordan - Ohio state
131 Safety Dionte Thompson - Alabama
Getting either of these guys would be very lucky

But I guess they're not counting on drafting any 2019 starters at this point.

Not necessarily. Lot of college players are coming out to play NFL, more than usual according to the article below. It helps push good players down later than they thought they would be draft based on the grading system. I honestly think there's a good chance we will draft our new LG today, assuming we draft one in 4th or 5th round.

I want this guy: Foster Moreau, TE LSU. 6-4 253. Bad-ass inline blocker who can catch the ball, too. Ran 4.66 at NFL Combine. Also ran the fastest shuttle of all TE's at 4.11. Lance Zierlein compares him to Logan Paulsen, which I like. He was also named a permanent team captain at LSU.

NFL Comparison
Logan Paulsen
Overview
"Moreau is a feisty, committed run-blocking tackle with solid technique and footwork to find proper angles in-line or on the move. He's tough enough to battle at the point of attack, but at his best when he's a lead blocker on iso, wham blocks, and outside zone with his ability to locate and land on second-level targets.
He lacks finesse as a route-runner and is too content to be covered when matched up against a linebacker. While he's not dynamic, he should find work as a run-blocking option who can be moved around formations."
