A vampire facial, also known as a plasma-rich protein facial, involves injecting nutrient-rich plasma into the skin on your face using a tool called a micro-needling pen. That plasma typically comes from your own blood.
When done safely and properly, a vampire facial should not expose clients to any such blood-borne infections and is promoted to rejuvinate the face so the skin looks younger, experts say.
Yet if the micro-needling pen or any other equipment is not properly disposed of or sterilized between facials, that could expose patients to potential blood-borne infections, as what was seen in New Mexico, Dr. Ehsan Ali, a board-certified internal medicine physician known as the Beverly Hills Concierge Doctor, said last year. Ali was not involved in the New Mexico cases.
are people seriously this hard up to look good to do dumb shit like this?
mooby 04-30-2019, 05:17 PM Hey man if I want to fight father time using advanced treatments that's my own business!
Buffalo Bob 05-01-2019, 02:00 PM Is there anything more dumb than someone dying by selfie? Seems to be a thing lately, people falling off cliffs, clock towers, etc. Unreal.
Definitely agree.
kct1975 05-01-2019, 02:50 PM My most recent WTF moment...
I was getting off of the Metro [emoji585] train last week at the Gallery Place Chinatown Station [emoji579]... I saw this woman having a very loud Face Time Call and she was completely oblivious to everyone around her. She kept walking the crowded station [emoji579] with her iPhone out in front of her and plowing through the crowded station bumping into people, every so often saying "Excuse Me! Can't You See I'm On A Call Here!" Then I heard her say to her friend on the Face Time Call "Sorry about that...I am So People are Just So Rude that they won't get out of a person's when they can clearly see the person is on an important call!"

mooby 05-01-2019, 06:15 PM Serious WTF material right here. Found this video on Reddit:
ocL-AxeqORw
Backstory: The guy narrating that video was locked up because he tortured a legal weed dispensary owner (who dealt only in cash due to banks not wanting to do business with dispensaries) with 2 friends. They tortured this guy because they thought he had a mil stashed in the Mojave Desert. After he couldn't give them what they wanted, they cut off his dick and poured bleach on him. This is the summarized version FYI, if you want the full story read it here:

How does the video come into play? He filmed it with a contraband iPhone as he and two others were escaping from the jail in Orange County after he had been arrested and extradited to the US (which is a whole other story in itself). If you don't mind the gory details the entire story is a fascinating look into the mind of an insane person.

I don't know about this particular treatment, but I have to say, I have a phobia of growing older - looking older. I mean, obviously, I want to keep living, but I don't want to be old if that makes sense? If I thought there was a sure, fire way of looking like I'm 20 years old when I'm 60 - a way in which it was healthy, I would most certainly do it.

I have rarely seen anyone that used artificial means to look younger not have some type of strange unnatural look to them. You can pretty much tell a mile away if someone has had a facelift. I wonder if some of those people think they are really fooling anyone? I think many would look better if they left themselves alone.

My wife had a nose job back years ago. If she had never told me about the nose job, I would have never known. You can't tell she had plastic surgery. I think if it's minor changes, like one nose job and maybe a nip and tuck here and there, that's fine. It's when you get the people who have several nose jobs, botox , and basically looks like joker after awhile.
