When Belicheck came to Richmond to scrimmage several years ago...he raved about Reed and the trouble he gave his secondary. Pats have a lot of mid round picks and nothing at TE...you’d been a fuckin retard not to call.

Several years ago and several injuries ago. If they offered the above pick, I'd take it no questions asked.

There is zero chance the Patriots trade for Reed and his contract. They have 6 picks in the first 3 rounds and it is a deep draft for TEs.

Yup, but the fact he struggles blocking is probably the bigger reason...they don’t put up with that shit up there. Like we saw once again with their Sb march, they understand the premise of winning football is running the balll.

If that's their worst, my point still stands.

I'm sure there are other examples. They're not perfect. Damn good but not perfect.

This trade Reed shit is getting tired...

For a team with not much in the weapons dept why would the Skins trade away their best receiving option??

cant stay healthy, cant give you anything in run blocking, big cap number...

When our best receiving option is an oft injured TE, then that says a lot about your entire passing game. Plus we don't even have a starting QB

The TE position needs a total rebuild.

Because he's usually hurt and unavailable?

So why would someone trade for that??

So why would someone trade for that??

Its highly unlikely, sometimes teams get desperate...like they done in the past.

I've got no issue with looking to replace him, but this idea that someone would trade for him is laughable. Especially the Patriots with how they value blocking from their TE's.
