Quinn has shown nothing except that he is injury prone. Crowder is one of our better players when healthy. I hope we keep him but 8 million is probably too much.
What really irks me if the front office wants crowder back, why the fuck wouldn’t you attempt an extension at some point in the season? There is no way in hell im paying crowder 8 million per. If you look at the WR free agent, not a lot there meaning guys will probably get overpaid.

Approach Crowder, Long, Murphy right after they were injured.
Try to sign at a discount.

Give me an Adrian Amos and Clinton-Dix or Collins safety combo for next year.
We for sure need to sign at least one safety.

You know, there is a reason why the market is flushed...it’s an universal statement by defense coaches. Previous years good teams let safety walk and the market wasn’t spitting out a lot of money for them last year.
Right now, teams are contacting others about franchise tagged pass
Rushers...that’s where the interest is...
I wouldn’t sign 2 high price safetys

Yeah, probably more wishful thinking than reality. Need 2 safeties tho. 1 FA and 1 draft pick would be fine by me.

3 more veteran safetys have been cut in the last 24 hours by Jax, Arizona and San Diego. Flushed market

Rumor is that the Giants would like Collins to play at LBer and willing to do a one year look and see.

I would sign 2 veterans at modest contracts.... Adrian Phillips and draft 2 rookies..... Apke should be a WR project, he is not a safety

You will be able to get a solid safety at 2.0-2.5 mill per.
With the safety market with about 10 solid starters available...expect Preston Smith to get a bigger contract than Collins/Honey badger.
