Because he is a "freak". I like Harry and Butler over DK. Even Brown

Tape and production isn't in his favor, we already have a guy that can't get off man coverage, no need to add another. Yeah he's faster than Doc but still comparable. Maybe in the right offense he can thrive but I'd rather have a polished route runner

Metcalf is a workout warrior who will likely be a flop in the NFL.
He also missed about half of the 3 seasons he was in college due to a foot and neck injury.
Plenty of people say he's not even the best WR coming out of Ole Miss.

The take away is that he is a deep threat on first down and that's pretty much it.
Bad route runner, chest catcher, looks physical but doesn't play physical, jammed easily, and was never thrown to in clutch situations.
