People were getting enamored with him because he had his shirt off and it made the other wideouts look like kids. I haven't watched any tape of him but if the game highlights don't line up or he has a questionable injury history I'd pass. Size means nothing if you can't use it to your advantage. The biggest take away, other than him changing directions like he's coming off two hip replacements, is that he is the most physically imposing receiver in a generation but doesn't play physical at all.

It is hard to make an assessment of Doctson when the qb play and play calling has been so horrible.

I think after a few years we pretty much know what Doc is. I hope I'm wrong and he has some kind of breakout season, but he just doesn't have the "it" factor. He's just a plain old Jaguar w/out the V8 engine.

Thompson started good, ended poor. There about 5-6 safeties in this 3rd-4th round range that are decent prospects. Pick any you want there with that last comp pick. My strategy is put a young guy next to Collins to build a solid unit for the next 5-6 years.

When you look at those Seattle defense teams...how comfortable did that front 7 play knowing they had Thomas/Kam at the rear to clean up everything.

I will take Thornhill.

He’s my favorite safety in the draft, but he ain’t there at 96 imo.

He may be gone, according to this article there is a chance he will be there.

A prospect who has potential to sneak into the middle parts of the second round, Thornhill excels in coverage from a variety of techniques. He has a natural feel in zone for coverage spacing and working into throwing windows while also effective in man coverage where his length and physicality will serve him well working against tight ends and bigger slots. There are some matchups in the slot, mainly against quicker receivers, that could be problematic for Thornhill in man coverage but he has the physical traits to lineup with flexed tight ends and big-bodied possession receivers. Thornhill is a strong tackler and plays the game with a physical demeanor as he works through contact. He has the contact power expected for his size. He can win near the line of scrimmage and offers the traits needed to function as a box safety.
