Big stretch to say DJ has more support than Jay in the locker room. In fact I’d say that’s just completely false.

I don’t know how the rest of the team feels but I saw on Twitter Adrian Peterson tweeting @Swearinger that he was still shaking his head in disbelief,It was an honor playing with him, I will always appreciate the authenticity of Who you are as a competitor, that’s what makes you the warrior you are! I would take you on my team any day!

If anybody thinks Swearinger is going to join a playoff team this week and start the next game/be an impact player in the playoffs they are absolutely nuts.

Stranger things have happened, the way the Redskins luck goes he’ll probably end up being the MVP of the Super Bowl !!

What successful teams air their grievances through the media?

Since there aren't any, why would they (not you) think it's a bad thing?

DJ was a good player and he has never stayed anywhere long probably because he doesn't do what's asked by his bosses.

He was good in Houston and in Arizona and they didn't want him. What could possibly be the reason?

Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk I think you're missing the point. We're not a successful team and it has nothing to do with DJ Swearinger. Getting rid of him didn't fix not one problem.

Getting rid of a cancer is always a good thing

Think about it, if you get released by the Redskins you’re probably doing something seriously wrong lol

How was he a cancer? Can you please explain? This team was pure garbage before he got here. They will continue to be garbage now that he's gone. He called out our shitty ass DC who deserved to be fired. For the record, I've seen some players leave this organization and have success else where. I have also seen ex players and coaches come back to DC and kick our ass. In fact it is pretty common.

The Chiefs are already interested in claiming him.

But keeping him would have created a whole host of problems and signaled to everyone it's ok to throw your coaches under the bus.

You know, a model we should copy.

If it is acceptable, or a good thing to do, should be pretty common.

Read the last part of the story on what DJ would do as a coach of a player called him out in the media.

He would shut it down too, but his answer absolved him of any responsibility.

Lol, too much!

If DJ was told to keep things in house and he chose to continue this behavior then he truly has a lack of respect for the coaches and team and got what he probably deserved. My concern is the "laid back" practices and the way he says this team practices and prepares for games. If that is the case maybe that is why the last couple of years this team has been decimated with injuries. If that is it then maybe a new set of coaches are needed. I'm getting tired of seeing us lead the league in players on the IR.
