DYoungJelly 12-27-2018, 11:38 AM Too early to tell on Apke.
Seems that fans never learn when it comes to judging players in their rookie years.Fair, but at this point in his career, he isn't going to have much of an opportunity to develop football instincts.
Training camp and pre-season are going to be his chances to develop, not show what he has.

His scouting report is what he has shown in the NFL so far. Not saying it's impossible, but drastic improvement is definitely an uphill struggle.
I think only playing safety 1 year in college really hurts him. He doesn't have that repetition and muscle memory.

There are a TON of top tier safeties available in FA. All 30 or younger. Earl Thomas, Landon Collins, LaMarcus Joyner, Tyrann Mathieu.
I think they’ll look there to address it, and maybe give HHCD a full offseason to work in the defense before giving up on him.

I’m still kinda butthurt we didnt draft Collins especially since he grew up idolizing ST. I know he wasn’t the type of safety we were looking for at the time but... come on.

Problem with HHCD is he's a free agent, so you can't just give him another test run.

If the Skins gave up a pick to get him, I’d think they’re interested in keeping him longer than a half season rental.
You think that he’ll still command top dollar considering Green Bay just dumped him, and he’s played so poorly in Washington?
I’m hoping they can sign him to a reasonable deal considering all of that, and with the Bama connection.

I think it all depends if we drop Manusky (praying they do) then who comes here to coach defense. If they see HaHa workin within their scheme, I wouldn't be opposed.
sidenote...if there was every a time to go base 4-3, its now. Our personnel lines up nice

I hope they let Manuksy go and promote Tomsula

I’m sure the hope was he’d come in an ball out but he didn’t so they can let him walk and get a compensatory pick in return.
I’d guess they’ll let him test the market and go from there.

"test the market" ploy, huh?
5superbowls3wins 12-27-2018, 01:12 PM Well, they’ll be looking for a corner too, because you can bet Norman will be gone as well.
