Joe Gibbs was at the game and met with Snyder yesterday. There’s a Washington Times piece speculating a Gibbs return. Possibly President, or other front office position

Gibbs, Cooley...where is Joey T going?

Yes. And from what I saw, I do think warm ups aren't complete enough. Proprioception and muscular mobilization won't prevent broken legs but could help avoid a lot of these muscle and ligament injuries.

I agree. DYoungJelly posted a twitter video of the Skins warming up and it was pathetic.

That reeks of desperation but classic Snyder trying to win back fans by looking to the past and not to the future.

Exactly, this is his go to move. Fuckin idiot. He needs to get rid of most the front office and bring in an executive from a competent organization to run the franchise.

I don’t want Gibbs, I don’t want Cooley, I don’t want ex skins.

This is not the main point of the article, but i do get annoyed when writers describe Snyder and Allen as “hiding” in response to the backlash of the foster signing and sending out Williams to take the heat. This implies that Williams is being pushed out there to do something that one of them really should be doing.

Doug Williams is SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF PLAYER PERSONNEL. I would say talking to the media about player acquisitions fits squarely in his job description.

But you can BET it wasn’t WIlliams decision to bring Foster in. People typically in Doug WIlliams position make personnel moves WITHOUT people like Snyder and Allen involved, so they can speak on their decisions.

Since Foster reeks of Snyder and Allen THEY can go out in front of the press and explain it

It was mostly jay. They didn’t get along and jay wanted more power over player personnel. Scots regularly being drunk on the job was a nice excuse.

I highly doubt Snyder is involved in 90% of personnel decisions.... only if a significant contract is involved.

You seem to think that Williams wouldn’t do move this terrible - but he called it “small potatoes.” Williams is the one who said those words. If anything, this indicates that Williams was the driving force behind the acquisition - or if it was him and Allen, Williams was in support of it. You don’t call abusing women “small potatoes” if you were strongly opposed to the move.

Williams May have been a great quarterback, but I’m honestly not impressed with him as the face / voice of the personnel department. In my opinion, neither he or Allen are qualified for their current jobs.
