Yeah the original #33 episode has now been replaced on iTunes too, glad I listened while it was up. I don't see what was so bad about what he said, guess he was being too honest. I'm done with his podcast now, just don't trust he's going to give his 100% honest opinion. Yet another reason to say F this team. That's some high level dysfunction right there.

Just listened to the latest Cooley Podcast. The last one was deleted because the newest one is labeled with the same number, 33, as the removed one.
The tone was strange. He didn't hand out any awful grades but wouldn't assigned one to Sanchez, so it was bad.
Most notable he graded most players C- range, but didn't really give individual grades. He really bragged on Payne, Allen, Trent, and kind of on Ioannidis but it was almost a comment on their effort.
He took some veiled shots at the coaching staff, and in particular about the running game.
He noted how players have been missing the LB on running players all year because of not knowing their assignment or just whiffing. He said if you can't figure out who to block or get a good angle, just put a full back and lead through the hole and hit the first guy. Easy fix.
He also mentioned a running play in which Roullier was awesome on an inside zone run, (we don't run stretch zone anymore) and we should run it like that every time but that wasn't the way this coaching staff teaches it.
An interesting listen and a strange tone, softer than expected toward the players, a little harsher, but definitely veiled more toward the coaches.
Not to mention that AD ran out of the I formation behind a FB for his entire career before he got here. It's just fucking stupid for Gruden et. al. to keep doing things the same way when it's not working.
Gruden is one hard-headed MF who is more in love with his system than he is with winning football games. He cannot adjust at all and he reached his highest possible level of coaching as an OC.

He'd probably be making less money but man hearing him fake hope that we can make the playoff and defend HHCD after roasting him a couple of days ago is sad...

I don't listen to any of his stuff just for that reason. His grades all year have been way too generous too.
I'm starting to get the vibe that Allen and Gruden could be back. I've heard too many people in the know say they think it could happen and they'll be able to use injuries as an excuse again. They can point to the fact the team was 6-3 before Smith got injured and things unraveled from there.

This would be another terrible decision by Dan Snyder and his garbage worst in the league ownership group. Fucking Jimmy haslem is a better owner. Fuck this team if both return.

Along with hints at a coordinator change.
Almost like a punch in the stomach.

If this is all that happens....not ideal to say the least, however, Steve Spagnuolo would be a huge improvement.

If Bruce Allen is back next year I'm adopting the Chargers as my 2019 team. I'll wait these sons of bitches out.

A coordinator change will solve all our problems. Just look at Gruden's history of picking d-coordinators.
