Would Tomsula even want to be promoted? His name is on that unconfirmed list of coaches trying to bail on this shitshow.
Who said Tomsula is any better anyway? lol.
Basically the Redskins kicked Manusky in the balls. They openly had people in for his job. No one wanted to come work here and now they had to go back to Manusky. It's a shitty way to do business in the NFL. Other coaches see this, coaches talk. The Redskins are just screwing themselves and are taking yet another PR hit. It's one of the reasons we're one of the bottom feeders in the NFL when it comes to quality franchises. It wasn't like this when the Cooke's ran the team.

Oh damn it! Plus we couldn't be named after a tribe that is literally called "cow people" in French, too close to cowboys !
Sidenote: how the heck did you find that?!
I have a strong interest in history related to Native American tribes and I knew there is a tribe known as the Arapaho to European emigrants.

I have an Arapaho Redskin Story!
There is a Town Square in Santa Fe, NM that Native Americans setup a little shop on the ground to sell jewelry to tourists. It's mostly handmade sterling silver and turquoise womens jewelry.

One vendor had on nothing but Redskins gear including Redskins shoes and socks!
I asked him about it and he said there are a lot of Skins fans on the reservations and typically anyone that doesn't want to cheer for the Broncos or Cowboys will end up a Redskins fan, poor bastards.
He said he was 100% Arapaho but lived in Pecos with his wife who was 100% Pecos Indian.
I ended up with a pair of overpriced sterling silver earrings for the old lady and his business card just in case Dan needs me to find some Indians to support the team.

Things look gloomy now but you know how it goes. A splashy free agent here or there, Guice looking good in training camp, and all of a sudden our hopes are sky high again.
Until they aren’t. Thinking around Thanksgiving.

The only thing I’m excited about this off season is the draft. I have mixed emotions about it. But we have done fairly well the last couple years with our early picks. Even though the 19 season will be a wash the draft can atleast (hopefully) be a bright spot for the future.
Also in my naiveness I’m still holding out a little hope that Dumb A$$ Dan has some kinda big picture plan for the future that were just not seeing yet.
One can dream atleast
Guice may or may not be good. We will see. Geron Christian in the third was a huge reach. 2017 draft was atrocious outside Allen. I have absolutely zero faith in these toolbags building through the draft.

Been to that exact spot. Santa Fe is awesome. My wife has family out there. It is funny because I have only really known one full blooded native American in my life. Mary - super cool lady. Worked with her at a bar out in Tahoe in the 90’s and she was a die hard Skins fan. Not because of the superbowl years - in other words she wasn’t a bandwagon. She was pretty old than so it isn’t like she started watching football in the 80’s. She wasn’t from the DC area. Born n raised out west. She rooted for them because of the emblem and the name. Her words.

I tend to agree. Just that it isn’t really fair to say we nailed that pick until he actually takes the field. We are also going to have to have a healthy O-line, and some semblance of a passing game so the box isn’t constantly stacked against him.

No he won't.
Because he's gonna tear his other ACL on the first play of training camp.
