Agreed. By signing him the Redskins condoned his behavior. It’s just a bunch of BS and more poor leadership from this piss poor organization.

This regime is a DISGUSTING DISGRACE to Joe Gibbs, Jack Kent Cooke, Lombardi, George Allen, Bobby Beathard, and the other individuals that made this franchise once great.

I’ve reached a point where I’m truly embarrassed to call myself a Redskins fan. I need to stop following such filth

Well it's hard to have a 15 minute opinion, but I'm in wait-and-see mode on this one. Let the situation play itself out, if it's legit I would hope they drop him but we all know the NFL is one league where you can commit heinous acts and still play once punishment is served.

Still a bad look for the Redskins to grab him despite his upcoming legal troubles. I hope for our sake this is a situation where his worst crime is being stupid enough to keep hanging out with a woman clearly waiting for a payday (based off her first accusation which she admitted in court was for money).

I don't see what the outrage is about.

@WashTimesSports

Breaking news: #Redskins claim LB Reuben Foster off waivers from San Francisco, just days after he was arrested at the 49ers' team hotel on charges of domestic violence.

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkChatting with my wife just now I asked, almost rhetorically, WTH the Redskins management was thinking, and her comment was...

"Dan Synder signed him to keep the Redskins in the news [emoji438]"

"Signing Reuben Foster keeps people talking about the Redskins"

I told her that actually makes sense.

per Ken Burgundy tweet;

Everyone has an opinion on the Reuben Foster claim. It's interesting to readit all. He likely doesn't play again in 2018. His contract runs through 2020. The "Alabama influence" may help. One thing is certain - the Skins can drop him quickly with no cap hit - if need be

If we were going to claim an Alabama guy, I'm surprised it wasn't OT Andre Smith, who was just released by Arizona. Seems like Smith better fills a need right now than Foster.

I have a problem with the wording of the Doug Williams/Redskins statement, ...”If true[the allegations] you can be sure these allegations are nothing our organization would ever condone.”
But we have already signed him and never do they say we will release him if these allegations are proven to be true. So they do not condone it but we will sign him anyways.
Sad we live in a world that a guy that gets arrested 3 times, once for weapons and drug charges, then twice arrested for beating the same women is ok. But we cannot sign a guy that kneels in protest during national anthem. That is too controversial. Violence especially against women is never ok.

Daniel Tosh disagrees :D

I'm always torn on these things because taking a man's livelihood away is no good. That's not going to help him turn his life around. But you also can only give a man so many chances before he needs to pay the piper. In an ideal world for himself, he understands he not only needs to but should want to make drastic lifestyle changes. We'll see.

Talent will always get you 2nd and even 3rd chances, but it runs out at some point.
