Chico23231 11-28-2018, 01:26 PM So dude punches girl. Girl tells. Guy says baby say u lied it will never happen again. Girl says she lied. Dude punches girl again. She goes back on her word. Like Matty said there is a real good chance they are both trash. At what point would u believe him when he says he will never whack her again though?
That's not what happened the first time. He didn't whack her...she said that.
As long as he gets good lawyer and didn't admit to anything at the scene...this probably ends up good for him.
REDSKINS4ever 11-28-2018, 01:30 PM Your argument at least what you wrote is that women nowadays are psycho, women make up stuff all the time, you have discredited her based on her gender but yeah I am deflecting arguments.
You most certainly are deflecting my argument....when I say women I'm not generalizing....but there are women in our society who are vindictive enough to make these types of fraudulent claims of domestic abuse...

Around n around we go. I gave u a possible reason why she said she lied. Neither of us were there. We don’t know if he did or not. But it is completely plausible that he did, and she retracted her statement because it would have meant no more payday for him or her.
Schneed10 11-28-2018, 01:45 PM What's not talked about enough is the risk / reward from the cap side of things. His cap number next year would be $1.3M if on our roster, and $1.7M in 2020. Absolutely none of that guaranteed. So we can dump him at any time with no cap ramifications.
We can also exercise the option for 2021, if we so chose.
Or, if he plays out his deal here, we can let him leave via free agency and get a comp pick in the deal, depending what he signs for elsewhere.
This is the biggest reason he was signed. No guaranteed money, no cap consequences, talented player. Lots of upside reasons that make you willing to weather the PR storm.
I definitely would have put in the claim myself.
Schneed10 11-28-2018, 01:49 PM Remember, GMs and coaches keep their jobs based on their win / loss record. Not based on whether they drag their team through PR issues, which just like anything else in the media these days passes over as quickly as an east-coast thunderstorm in July.
If I think there's a move I can make that helps me win more games, even if it isn't until 2019, I'm doing it. The stigma of signing the occasional bad apple gets me some egg on my face temporarily, but losing games puts me out of a job.

Yep, and for those saying "Why didn't they sign CK" It's because he hasn't played in 2 years and I have not seen any story of him training and actively looking for a job either..

From a pure football standpoint it makes total sense. For a team with an ongoing PR issues and waning interest from long time fans I wouldn’t have done it.

U said it best, Its about WINNING. Jay knows if this team caves and finishes 7-9 or worse he's most likely fired. I'm sure BA feels the same way, Jay said at the beginning of Pre season "This team needs to win now" He knew the pressure was on.

Last I heard about his contract demands, he wanted a good $10M and didn't want to accept less than that because that's what he felt he was worth. If his salary demands dropped to reflect those of a backup QB who hasn't performed particularly well in recent seasons, he might get signed.
Foster counts $1.3M, none of it guaranteed. Kaepernick would cost much more than that.
The almighty dollar drives almost everything.

To be honest Matt, unless the team changes the Logo or Name they will be hated on by the media. I was thinking about the team going to this look.. http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/1688375/uspw_6718080.jpg
Change the Indian logo to a W and stick with the name. That way the Logo/Redskins can't be connected.
