Former Redskins beat writer Mike Jones (and current NFL columnist for USA Today) did an AMA on the Redskins subreddit today, and after reading it I thought it was worthy of being shared here. I always used to like him when he worked for the Post and found him credible.

There was definitely a time when Snyder was heavily involved with every single move.
I believe that still rings true. That RGIII trade smelt of Snyder and Allen. So did the McNabb trade.

Both of those were a long time ago though.

I still think there are some occasional moves he signs off, like the Alex Smith trade perhaps, but overall his footprint is a lot smaller now. RGIII and McNabb were both 6+ years ago too, maybe it's time to give him some credit for stepping back.

AMA was always American Medical Association to me. Must be a product of my age that I am not up on a lot of the shorthand.

In the medical community, Against Medical Advice.
Which is pretty much the way I’d describe being a Redskins fan. :laughing2

I hope Dan Snyder gets involved enough to fire Bruce Allen.
