There is no Free agents either so we may be fucked
Teddy Bridgewater is probably the best out next year's free agency crop.

Chico23231 11-19-2018, 02:51 PM Alex Smith looked closed to being done...now with this injury he probably is done. We need to accept this fact...lotta folks on this board need too. He's probably better than AS now. skinsfaninok 11-19-2018, 02:53 PM I have no interest in Teddy unless its at a vet min. He wasn't good when he played so after 3 years I don't see much from him. I agree Chico, AS is done as the starter in WSH. I just don't see how he will be ready to play and start by 2019. skinsfaninok 11-19-2018, 02:55 PM Trade for Jacoby Brisett. He's not bad but other than that it looks bad folks. Maybe Joe Flacco will be the guy Ruhskins 11-19-2018, 02:57 PM Alex Smith looked closed to being done...now with this injury he probably is done. I can understand if the team just falls off the cliff, but that hasn't happened. Think about this: - The core of the current defense is likely to come back next year. - Guice will come back next year. - You can get better receivers next year through the draft or see how some of the current young receivers work out. - You can draft a project QB and see what happens. I just don't think any FA QB can come in and be successful, as people want it, right away. Granted, this could all change if Alex decides to hang it up. MTK 11-19-2018, 03:34 PM This isn't a great draft class to be in need of a QB. That said we still have 6 games to go in this season, maybe more. skinsfaninok 11-19-2018, 03:47 PM So you'd want to star over with a new QB next year, even if we make the playoffs? Yes even if we make the playoffs i don't want CM as QB1 going into next season. MTK 11-19-2018, 03:50 PM What if Colt plays well? We're getting way ahead of things from tossing dirt on Alex to thinking Colt can't be the starter heading into 2019. Pump the brakes folks. skinsfaninok 11-19-2018, 03:51 PM What if Colt plays well? If he plays lights out and we win the division then maybe so but I just don't think that will happen. We will find out in 3 days |
