I think we still have a good shot. Colt should not be a huge drop off in QB and in someways an upgrade. The key will be to limit turnovers especially those that give the other team good field position. Something Alex did really well until today.

I believe That Colt’s completion percentage will be lower, but he’s gonna have bigger plays. The kid doesn’t mind taking chances. That may not always be a good thing, but it gives the receivers a chance to make a play.

It's going to be a better pass offense but will he limit mistakes? That's the big QI think we still have a good shot. Colt should not be a huge drop off in QB and in someways an upgrade. Colt will take shots and try to make plays. He will probably have more turnovers than Alex Smith, but more opportunities for bigger plays. In the end, I think if we lose games, it won't be because of Colt McCoy. It will be because of some horrible officiating, a dropped pass, or the defense allowing a big play. I think McCoy plays well for the rest of the season. This is all on the hope he stays healthy. McCoy doesn't like to slide, and he may take a few more sacks, so his health will be the big factor, not his skill. I think McCoy is more than good enough to lead a team into the playoffs, but he has to stay healthy.

Other than NO and the Rams the NFC is tough but mediocre. Chicago looks tough but beatable, we beat Carolina and we are both 6-4, Minny will be a half game behind us and then seattle is there at 5-5

No way this team loses to the Cowpokes on Turkey Day. Not a fucking chance. This will be a 20+ point victory.

The division is still very much in play, a win on Thursday and we're back to a 2 game lead.
