SFREDSKIN 11-17-2018, 01:42 PM I wouldn't say that getting gashed for 500 yards is exactly shutting a team down. We did force some turnovers which was great. But still the Bucs was in the redzone 5 times. The only difference between the Bucs game and the Saints and Falcons games were the turnovers. If it wasn't for those lucky turnovers we would have got destroyed. Offense went up against the worse defense in the nfl and still couldn't score over 20 points. There is nothing at all impressive about this team. I don't care what any of you say. This team is not good. The stats show that are in the middle of the pack when it comes to defense. We are at the bottom of the league on the offensive side of the ball. Our coaches are below average. Nobody takes this team seriously even at 6-3.
There are many experts that don't take this team seriously, however I think our D is the best it's been in many, many years and are young. The O hasn't really clicked yet, injuries to the RB's, OL, WR don't help. I've been critical of Alex Smith but will give him a chance this year, if he plays like this next year then I'll be ripping him like you and Punch. My beef has been the inconsistency, hopefully with experience and determination can be resolved.
Of course I would have taken 6-3. Im happy as hell we are in the convo front and center in late November. Im simply giving my opinion on what I think this team is actually capable of going forward. Sorry it is not as rosy as yours. We beat Houston and I will feel a whole lot better about our potential going forward Ill tell you that much.
We beat Houston and I guarantee you’ll find something to be unhappy about, then it will be if we beat Dallas, if we beat Philly, etc

Yeah you know me. Mr unhappy about winning guy. [emoji849]
Sorry I think Alex Smith and Jay Gruden stink.
It is funny all the recent talk about ES and you are suddenly going to police this place for people saying bad things about the redskins? Really?

The ultimate goal of a defense is to not allow points. Giving up just 3 points is impressive no matter how it happens. I'd guarantee you Houston is not taking this game lightly.

Voicing my opinion is policing?? Really?
httr198020 11-17-2018, 01:58 PM If you knew back in August we would be 6-3 right now you would have been fucking elated. Because it’s not a “pretty” 6-3 you’re looking for every excuse to discount it. As the saying goes you are what your record says you are. Relax and enjoy it. There is a reason nobody is taken this team serious even after starting 6-3. We got a sorry ass, old ass qb that we stuck with for the next 3 years. That doesn't inspire any confidence in the short or long term. Our offense as a whole is ranked close to the bottom of the league. Which is pitiful due to the fact that Jay Gruden has been here for five years. Second our defense is not the world beaters that you seem to think they are. Have they improved? Yes, we have. Are we good? Yes, we are. Are we a legitimate top ten defense? No, we are not. I think that defensive line is elite. Our ILB are average. Mason Foster is slow as hell. Our secondary is average. That is why we've gotten killed over the last two weeks in the passing game. Nobody respect us because we're not all that good. The fans are not showing up for the games because deep down they know we suck. Deep you know that everything I'm saying is true.

Shut up and cheer for them! How dare you give your honest opinion about them! You got a sandy vagina and you are not a good fan! [emoji23]

They may not take us seriously, but we are 4th in the conference, 6-2 in the conference with wins against Carolina(#5), and Packers(#8).
In division we have a 2 game lead, 2-0 in the division and the Eagles have games against the Rams and Saints, Dallas still has to play the Saints.
I think Dallas has the best chance of winning the division IF we don't. Their game against Atlanta is huge for their season. If they lose that they put themselves in a deep hole. Likewise, we could have a huge weekend if we win, and they lose.

No sorry I don't agree at all. If you think Houston is coming into town thinking this is going to be an easy win for them you're kidding yourself.
5superbowls3wins 11-17-2018, 03:23 PM I know I sound like a broken record, but the Texans (like the Falcons, Saints, and Colts) can put a lot of points on the board.
Who’s ready to see Smith lose another shootout? Moses publicly said it. The offense needs to start carrying their weight and putting points on the board. The team cannot continue to rely on the defense.
