Unless as part of the trade we firmed up his contract for the next year or two. You don't want to go crazy on the deal, but he would look good back in the burgundy and gold.

Why not get DJax back? We're hurting at WR, he's better than anyone we have, he already knows our system, and I think he'd provide a spark for our offense.

And now, here's the Big Reason: We are in 1st place and we're trying to get to the playoffs this season. We need to add some veteran talent to plug holes versus hoarding draft picks. We need to think and act like winners and go get what we need, if we can, to win our division and possibly more.

I would rather a 5th, and I wouldn't want to bid against ourselves like the Cowboys apparently did, but I also wouldn't complain about it if a trade like that went down.
