I like the old LA Rams Blue and White better but I am old...........school.
Weren't the Rams Gold and Blue in their first Super Bowl appearance in 1979? The old Blue and White has to go back over 40 years. Just going off memory I could be wrong.

And he lost another big game on SNF, I like Kirk but he just can't win those games
But ... KC didn't "lose" it. Diggs stopped on a route leading to an interception, Thielen uncharacteristically fumbled, there was zero run game, and Minn's porous offensive line racked up 4 sacks. Despite all that KC racked up 2 TD's and over 300 yards in passing. It's a team game!
Just kidding ... it was classic KC. All of the above statements are true and he sure looks pretty passing the ball to those studly receivers. His team still loses.
Have a Minnesota fan in the office who asked my opinion of him when he was acquired. I said "He will put up good numbers and look the part. He will, however, make the occasional bonehead play, commit turnovers at crucial times, and, at the end of the day, he and the team just won't find a way to win the critical games - particularly when they are under the lights."
His comment to me this morning was "After watching him for eight games, your assessment of him was pretty dead on."

I would not be surprised if this guy is cut today or this week. No way in fuck would he be on my team if he didn't obey coach's orders.
According to more than a half-dozen Packers players and coaches who witnessed it, Montgomery had thrown a tantrum of his own on Green Bay's previous offensive series, becoming noticeably enraged on the sideline after being removed from the game. At least one player believed there was carryover from that incident to Montgomery's decision to disregard his coaches' instruction and return the kickoff.
"They took him out (the previous drive) for a play and he slammed his helmet and threw a fit," one Packers player said. "Then (before the kickoff) they told him to take a knee, and he ran it out anyway. You know what that was? That was him saying, 'I'm gonna do me.' It's a f----- joke.
Any coach worth his salt would cut him immediately.

Cousins continually having good stats but his team loses.
I think it boils down to the type and timing of his mistakes. I used to look at the box scores when he was here and think "How did we lose that game?" or "How did we only score 17 points?"
If Kirk gives up a strip sack it isn't trying to buy time to throw into the end zone from the opponent 45 on the last play of the half. His will come when his team needs 5 more yards to try a game winning field goal.
If Kirk throws an interception it isn't on 3rd & 15 on a deep route that ends up as good as a punt, his turn into momentum killers or changers that either cost his team points or give them to the opponents.

Just googled it and it looks like gold & blue are the primary historical colors of the Rams. From '65-78, they wore the blue & white combo that was the only time the did so as the primary color scheme.
Since that covers the time I started watching football, however, the blue & white scheme will always be the "original" color scheme to me.

Jameis Winston has played 48 games in his NFL career. He’s thrown 50 interceptions and fumbled 21 times. 48 games... 71 turnovers.
Another QB bust.

I mean, the Saints blew us out and made us look much, much worse in the process so idk...
I am surprised to see another article about Cousins though. It seems this board has a unique fascination with the QB's of past. RGIII left and we all talked about him for the following couple years. Now it seems Cousins has taken up that mantle and is still thoroughly dissected..
I wonder how long we're gonna have to hear about A. Smith after his departure...

Wow, somehow I didn't see that coming. Just figured they'd stuck with him this long they'd wait until the off-season.
Alas, it was time.
