I agree here...like to see him replace Preston Smith going forward. Smith doesn’t have a future here...no way I’m giving him big money.

Another wrinkle I’d like to see is a throw to Anderson when he lines up as a fullback. People have him keyed only as a blocker...I say throw it to him on a play action on like a second and goal.

If we did resign Preston I'd tell him he's being used as a rotational player at DE. Someone will pay Preston tho, so I don't see him staying.

We need at least 2 new OLBs next year. We need some speed on the edge badly.

The only way we wouldn't bounce back from this is if we had no leaders in the locker room. I think we do, and I expect them to lead by example this week.

Also it's disappointing to hear what Hall said about Norman, but I would hope after the game he had last week he'd focus on what's important this week.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the incident began when Gruden stepped to the front of the locker room to address the team. Norman had his headphones on, which is normal for him at halftime. But Norman also had his back to Gruden, which meant Norman didn’t realize that Grudent had started talking. That prompted Gruden to yank the headphones off Norman’s head.

That resulted in Norman getting very upset and walking away, with Gruden calling after him, “If you keep walking, you’re not going to start the second half.”

Norman did not start the second half, for reasons Gruden declined to explain. But that appears to be the reason.

Make him a starter, then we'll only need 8 more Bama players to have a Roll Tide defense. I want to keep Moreau, Dunbar, Ioannidis, Brown, and Kerrigan, so we need to send them all to Bama to finish their degrees or get graduate degrees.
