I think we've seen enough of Gruden by now to know what he is. He's a mediocre HC. If you're looking for 7-9 wins he can get you there. He can generally scheme up a pretty good offense, he won't have a problem getting another job as a OC/QB coach.
Barring a major reversal of what his past history says he is, it's time to go HC shopping again this offseason. So if we win the division at 9-7 and lose in round one, will you feel the same? I think I would, but something tells me they'd get a stay of execution.

I really don't think that's going to happen anyway, but let's say it did...and they played a home playoff game and got beat easily PLUS the stands were full of the other teams fans to the tune of 50/50 or so...does Danny make a move then???

So you don't think this is a hold?

I was implying that they weren't "missed", the refs see it happening, they're just not going to call it.

Apparently there is a rule that "allows" for holding when the defender uses a rip move and gets under the linemans block, and that's why you see Kerrigan with one arm free being held a lot, but I don't know where to find it.
Sent from my SM-G950U using TapatalkFound it on wikipedia:
(1) When a defensive player is held by an offensive player during the following situations, Offensive Holding will not be called:
.
.
.
(i) if, during a defensive charge, a defensive player uses a “rip” technique that puts an offensive player in a position that would normally be holding. Exception: Holding will be called if the defender’s feet are taken away from him by the offensive player’s action.

Gruden could be out schemed by a high school football coach. Holy Shit.
The NFL like all business is about money and only money. These Revs get their marching orders and they keep their mouth shut and do what they are told. The NFL needs bodies watching the Tube and bodies warming the seats in the stadium and the NFL will do "anything" to make that happen.
So here's a hypothetical. What if last nights game was where Adrian Peterson was going to break the all-time rushing yards record and the Drew Brees record was not even on the table.
Would the game have gone any differently?

This is a song that I'm tired of hearing, the grooves have worn off.As Vince would say-WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON OUT THERE? if any of you reading this still thinks that Gruden has control of this team I feel bad for you because he has loss this team and the sad thing is that help ain't comin not this season which is over by the way..now we will beat-Dallas-The Giants only because they are as inept as we are but those will likely be our only victories for the rest of this year, now I may be wrong but it doesn't matter because the Eagles will win the division and we will be at home crying in our beer as always.

It all went downhill from the very beginning, Jay's decision to go for the bomb instead of sticking to the running game. Has Jay not learned over the years that when the running works it opens everything else?
I'm sure Jay knows that, everyone knows that.Coming into this season Jay ran more on first down than any coach in NFL.
I was fine with the bomb on first play,I'd be happy if they did it every week!In today's NFL just get the ball close to receiver and it's a pass interference call.Could have been a big play but piss poor pass as was most of smith's passes last night.I've never seen Smith play like that before,he was terrible!
I would have put in Colt after Smith threw the interception,it was painfully obvious Smith was having off night last night.
I too am sick of gruden,he's right on par with Texans coach, they both suck.
Thank God Jerry Jones has stuck with Garrett this long.
I'm sick of Norman also, and I heard he had a twitter war with Micheal thomas last night that lasted till the wee hours, what an idiot!
Redskins fucked themselves by getting rid of Fuller so we had to keep Norman 1 more year, top paid corner in the league and he's terrible

Kirk didn't want to be here and I cant blame him, we had no other options man. Colt Mccoy? Cmon. Alex has been solid before last night.
Kirk wanted to be here for years and we didn’t extend him. You know why? Because this fucking franchise under Dick Snyder is allergic to any sort of success. At the end I don’t blame him for leaving. Dick and Bruce had ample time to lock him up. Just terrible mismanagement. Remember after we beat the Cardinals it was Kirk who? Lmao. That didn’t last very long did it? Ill be rooting for him and the Vikings for the rest of the year since my team has shown me once again that they aren’t ready to compete with the big boys. Or even the medium to small size boys. Whatever the fuck that means. Fuckin fucks.
