How do you guys like the new DMB album?

I dig it, it's solid. I thought Busted Stuff was the best album he's ever put out, followed closely by Crash and Under the Table and Dreaming. This new one falls below those 3 classics for me, but it still beats Everyday and Before These Crowded Streets.

Overall, solid CD. I don't think it will make it in my heavy rotation list once I've had the CD for a year, but I do like it.

I like it too, it's different but it's still them. The more I listen to it the more it grows on me.

I've read that the new songs are translating really well live too.

A few songs make it into my all time DMB setlist.
A few songs will never make it onto my MP3 player.
Generally a solid effort.

I think we had this conversation earlier but I'm looking at the iPod shuffle, anyone have it? I'm debating between that and the Muvo TX. The Muvo has a nice screen but is a little heavier than the shuffle.

I like the muvo tx because it's a USB drive.
Easy to use... Drag and drop from Windows Explorer.
Sound quality is very good. Nice screen. Good battery life.
IMO... better value than the shuffle.

I've got a Dell DJ, 20 GB. It's way more space that I'd ever need, but it does double as a portable hard drive connecting through the USB port.

I love it because of the screen, ease of use, and the way it organizes music just like the IPOD.

It's more expensive than the shuffle. You can get a 5 GB version (the pocket DJ) for about $200. I think it's worth it if you have a big music library. If your library is smaller, the shuffle will work just fine.

Cool. I don't know if I need $200 bucks worth of space cause I mostly use mine for running and that might get cumbersome.

Yeah you just need a shuffle, no need to spend more than you have to. I take the subway to work every day, so the extra space comes in handy for me.

I can imagine that when I DO want the ability to put more than music on something, I would invest in the Dell because it's cheaper than the iPod. Thanks for the advice guys.

I never thought I would want/need a portable music player, but now I can't live without it.

I have a 40GB ipod. I use the itrip to listen to it over my radio at work and I have a direct hookup in my car. I can listen to it pretty much everywhere I go. I have about 25GB on it right now.
