I like what I saw last week, they easily and efficiently beat a team they were supposed to beat. I look for that to continue this week.

[emoji38] punch it in 09-13-2018, 12:21 PM I'm so mentally broken by our post Brian Mitchell punt return game that I literally just hold my breathe and hope for a fair catch without dropping it. It would be cool to get excited about a possible PR again. Speaking of punt returns, he wasn't a Skin, but wonder what Eric Metcalf is up to nowadays. He use to be one of my favorite players. How bout Mike Nelms? sevier2 09-13-2018, 01:11 PM If Dunbar plays like he did Sunday, all season, he'll be holding out next off season for more money, and I wouldn't blame him, he was phenomenal against the Cardinals. I don't see Dunbar being the holdout type. We took a chance on him and essentially made his career here in the NFL. I feel he'd be pretty loyal to the Skins. Now, once he plays his contract out (Which, if I remember correctly, isn't very long) and is a legitimate free agent I could see him wanting to be compensated for his worth. Then the question will be if we're willing to pay that amount or not. Schneed10 09-13-2018, 01:42 PM I don't see Dunbar being the holdout type. Schneed10 09-13-2018, 01:43 PM We beat the Colts by two scores. 31-21 Pervis_Griffith 09-13-2018, 01:56 PM As a Skins fan in Louisville, Kentucky, there are two teams the Skins have to beat (after, of course, the Dallas Cowboys) .... that's the Indianapolis Dolts, and the Cincinnati Bungles. Both of those franchises try to make Louisville part of their market. It's annoying, because they clog up the over-the-air TV choices we get here. And they suck. Skins 35 Dolts 10 Burgold 09-13-2018, 02:31 PM We better beat the Colts because you know who's coming after them. skinsfaninok 09-14-2018, 09:57 AM https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/redskins/adrian-peterson-wasnt-invited-to-an-nfl-training-camp-so-he-created-his-own/2018/09/13/f87194c6-b5f4-11e8-a7b5-adaaa5b2a57f_story.html?utm_term=.9e8345a74fa9 ethat001 09-14-2018, 11:26 AM Not ready to crown Dunbar just yet. It's one game. But to do what he has done, change positions at this level and become a starter is just a tremendous feat. You rarely see that happen in the NFL. This. Dunbar looked *awesome* --- but that was against Bradford and an older Fitz/not impressive WRs. I'd be happy if he can hold his own over the season with the elite QBs we're playing this year.. But I can't believe it will be like the last game. Teams also may start to do more film review to find his weaknesses/etc. Anyway, it does say something about our recruiting dept / talent development / coaching -- that we're consistently developing promising young corners recently... |
