I just noticed in my Profile I have an area called " Latest Reputation Received" and see 5 threads in there and 1 negative comment about me by a member here. The other ones don't have any comment but I can see someone did not agree with me in that thread.

What's up with that?

How come someone can tag me with a negative comment and I'm not even let know of this?

Maybe I better keep looking around and see what else is being done.

peace and thanks for all the hard work guys

With how the repuation feature is handled here, no general members can view your rep score. I wouldn't sweat it.

I bet Daseal has more negative reps than you. :D

I forgot all about that feature... I added some rep just for the hell of it.

Meh. It was mainly out of curiosity.

In the past I've lobbied, unsuccessfully, for the rep total to be made public. My main concern is that people care too much about the number of posts and less about the quality of posts. I think that by having your rep displayed, people would care more about quality of their posts, thus improving TheWarpath.

I agree cpyane, but it can also work the other way, with people being spiteful and giving others negative rep points just because they received negative rep points from someone. I've been kinda monitoring it for a while now just to see how it works. We'll definitely start to push it more at some point.

You can do only positive rep. People who have good posts will have their rep increased, and those who post crap will have their rep stay considerably lower in relation to everyone else.
