Picking apart the schedule right now is pointlessAgree. It's the NFL. Anybody can beat anybody on a given week.

The schedule changes weekly, teams have injuries, bad luck etc.

We don't play the Steelers or Patriots so I see 16 possible games on the schedule we can win. Actually winning them is another matter.

I have no doubt AP can still play, can he hold up over the course of the whole season? That’s the only question I have. I wouldn’t bet against him.

We think on the same wavelength. Age isn't just a number when it comes to running backs.

I wouldn't be surprised if he shows that old burst for about a month, and then it declines as the season goes on.

Really hoping he proves me wrong though. And I'm sure Gruden will take care of him on the practice field with some vet rest.

That's about me too, 9-7 or 10-6 at best, still too many holes.

Yep. I think it will take some time to gel and with the turnover we've had I expect another slow start.

Correct me if I am wrong but under Gruden's reign I don't recall the Redskins pulling many upsets when they were a td or more under dog.

Maybe that changes with Alex and new talent.

Plus last year's early wins against the Raiders and the Rams could be defined as upsets, couldn't they?

Why are you honing in on circumstances where the were a dog by a TD or more? Seems kind of random and I’m not sure what the point is.

I don't recall too many of them either. But we have a better QB now and this is probably our most talented roster overall we've had in a long time and for sure in the whole Gruden era.

Somebody said anybody can beat anybody on any given Sunday, that doesn't seem the case with Jay Gruden as coach with the Redskins the role of the underdog.
