skinsfaninok 08-12-2018, 10:05 AM You sure we can’t just forfeit all the preseason games? We’ll be the walking dead and have no depth players by time kickoff rolls around.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkNothing new rave, this team is never healthy. I can't remember a team consistently injured like we are. I'm not making a bs excuse either. Look around the league and see if others have as many starters out on a regular basis. Won't happen

PorkSkins 08-12-2018, 06:06 PM I've only read a handful of the posts in this thread, so I'll probably be rehashing something a few others may have said.
I would go attempt to get the Falcons to trade Tevin Coleman to us. It would only likely cost us a 6th round pick per conditions. If Coleman was to rush for 1,100 yards and 7 or 8 TD's, then it would end up costing us a 4th rounder. IMO, it'd be well, worth it if that were to play out.
Coleman is starter material, and the Falcons likely won't be able to retain him after this season (he'll be a UFA after the season).
If not Coleman, then I would try to coax DeMarco Murray out of retirement. Frankly, I don't think it'll take much to persuade him.
FrenchSkin 08-12-2018, 06:29 PM If we try to trade, which I hope our FO is at least seriously considering, here are a few names I don't think I've seen mentioned here:
-Latavius Murray, he had some good seasons in Oakland, the Vikings have Cook, wouldn't cost that much and he'd still be a nice addition.
-Mark Ingram, solid veteran, really good one year solution. The Saints have Kamara and could be willing to negotiate. He's entering his contract year.
-Deion Lewis. His name came up a lot when he was a free agent, and the Titans might be willing to give Henry a bigger role, would probably cost us a bit more.
Not saying these are the best we can do, but they're options.
watching the patriots replay is fucking depressing seeing how great guice looked. this is fucking bullshit.
This injury has me all effed up man. I'm 35, I got 21 year old drunk last night. That's a rarity nowadays. Woke up this morning with my TV and bedroom light on. Being a Skins fan man, few man bases have it worse.
33 but otherwise same here. this shits got me in my feelings bad
same here lol
skinsfaninok 08-12-2018, 11:05 PM I feel the same fellas, feels like a punch to the gut every time I hear about it. He was going to ball this year. Redskins fans all over are depressed, Had a Goat in the making at S and he was murdered, Savior of the franchise tears his knee and never plays the same again, finally have a franchise QB that is a legit starter and he doesn't want to play here, draft an electric RB that is desperately needed for years now and he goes down PS week 1. It's hard to even imagine that shit all being true.

Legit post. I'm glad I don't consume myself with this poop show like I did in my younger days. :banghead:

Sadly, even at 50 I am finding that each season it bothers me more that we are cursed. Consistent winning was literally half of my lifetime ago. Actually a little longer.
