I'd get Portis to take him under his wings.
If Derrius brings back Sheriff Gonna Getcha or Southeast Jerome I am in.

Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3Skinsfanatic 04-27-2018, 11:23 PM I'd get Portis to take him under his wings. If Derrius brings back Sheriff Gonna Getcha or Southeast Jerome I am in. skinsfaninok 04-27-2018, 11:27 PM G Christian, good pick for the long view. Nsekhe will finally be a free agent after playing out his final restricted year. He has a good reputation, and being 31 he will look for a money grab in free agency next year because it will be his last chance, and with Trent and Moses here he will have to go elsewhere. We’ll get a compensatory pick in 2020 after he leaves in 2019. Meanwhile we will need a swing tackle - a very very important position. If Nsekhe works well at guard this year then that’s gravy in my mind. I still expect the Skins to make a move at G somehow, independent of this Christian pick. I am happy to have depth at one of the most important positions on the field. You can never have enough tackles, plus he looks pretty athletic. I bet they look at him at Guard too. Good pick Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk skinsnut 04-27-2018, 11:28 PM I don't see any guards for our next pick, nor a decent TE. Don't be surprised if we get a rb or wr sitiational talent that can play special teams too. DT or cb or safety may be possible. It's really a crap shoot now. NC_Skins 04-27-2018, 11:32 PM I'd get Portis to take him under his wings. Pockets straight Portis? A hard pass on that. I'd rather Santana Moss take him under his wings than Portis. Hopefully we won't have to worry about it. Maybe that slight fall will put a chip on his shoulder. We'll know soon enough. GridIron26 04-27-2018, 11:34 PM Guice reminds me of CP, same size build and run and block angry. Good not great speed but can catch the ball. All of the sudden our RB trio (perine and CT included) looks damn good Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk I thought of same thing but I don't think we can expect him to match Portis's blocking style; he was mean to defenders and I don't see Guice being that although I love his running style, based on youtube highlights of course.. And for those guys who talked about going BPA vs need; maybe I should have been more clear with that statement, there needs to be balance of course although, imo it all depends on how you rank that player vs other player. Let's say you value one LB highly - i.e., 2nd round talent available in 3rd round vs a guard who is ranked as 3rd or below round talent - you have to go with LB because there's a better chance of getting above average player at those positions which are safe only for next 1 or 2 years just like our DB positions. If latter player rank closely to our next best player available then it would make more sense if we go with player that can fill in our needs. skinsnut 04-27-2018, 11:36 PM Wouldn't our OL we picked up in the 3rd be playing guard? I imagine he will since we've already got bookends at LT/RT. Someone's got to. We have like 4 tackes for 2 spots and a center and a guard. skinsnut 04-27-2018, 11:37 PM We may want to consider a dt tommorow to have an awesome dline, even if it is heart attack Hurst skinsfaninok 04-27-2018, 11:45 PM We may want to consider a dt tommorow to have an awesome dline, even if it is heart attack HurstLol that's a wrong but funny nickname Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk SFREDSKIN 04-27-2018, 11:49 PM The Bills are going to be tough, great draft so far for them. |
