I don’t think anyone is expecting him to be Tom Brady or Rodgers. Just like 90% of the QBs in this league he needs a good supporting cast. Smith has limitations just like Cousins does.
I appreciate some knowledge from someone who’s watched him closely but I’ve seen enough of him too over the years to know what we’re getting.

I sure am hoping a lot of Radio commentators are going to be shocked by the improvement a stable qb situation, WITH a qb that wants to be here, will make. On Sirius NFL network, there is a lot of -maybe not Cousins love but definitely Alex Smith dismissal. Comments in the vain of, they didn't improve their qb, but it's probably a wash. I think AS has a 10 year track record of winning with different players/coaches/organizations, and I expect that to continue here.

I don't think he's an upgrade when it comes to stats, but he's an upgrade in situational football. That is what wins games, he never turns the ball over.

I was simply trying to offer the perspective from a guy who has seen every snap he has taken for the last 5 years. If you choose to ignore my posts, fine. I promise I wont be posting much here. As a fan of the team your QB has played for, for the past 5 years, I thought some would be interested in my thoughts. If the situation was reversed, I would like to hear from fans who were invested in my new QB.
Thanks for your insight about the team's new QB. Good luck this season.

Just a quick reminder..
Alex Smith has made the playoffs 6 of the last 7 years... Once again let that sink in.
Good day all :)

Cool customer, professional, and knowledgeable...kinda nice not to be hearing the same shit about qb going into the summer that’s we’ve talked about the last several years.
Ball is ball...but I kinda wish Alex would have expanded to “ball is ball and now the cowboys, philly and ny blondstreaks can suck my balls.” Something to that effect.

He will have a leg up on Kirk if he doesn't shill any T-shirts.
