Bruce is as stupid as stupid gets. He lacks basic common sense. He had to give up valuable compensation for an already average to below average team for a QB that may not be as good. Plus he was too stupid to give Cousins 19 million a year after his 15 season. Lynch was thinking ahead and the 27 million that was paid to JG will be surpassed in a couple years. Lynch knows what he's doing, Bruce has no clue.Scot M did not see him as being worth that money. If the coaches and other football people tell you he is good but not great then you pay him what he is worth.

The league is headed for a correction in the QB market soon.

The NFL will have to change that up, QB's making 30M a year will cripple your team.

I agree 100%. Franchising KC twice upped the QB market as an side consequence. I think the correction will come with KC's contract. Teams will reset the value for a top 10 qb around what he is paid.

People thought the same thing when QBs hit the $20m mark, and then $25m. Bottoms line is salaries will keep increasing in line with the cap.

Johnny Manziel signs deal with Spring League – ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/02/14/johnny-manziel-signs-deal-with-spring-league/)

An elite qb is worth 30 million with the additional revenue that player brings to the franchise and the couple games a season he puts team on his back and drags them to victory. You can figure out the cap around him. Neither apply to KC. So we made move for a similar qb that allows us to sign/resign guys to put around him.

never even heard of this leagueLiving up near Hamilton and hearing him and his agent he still hasn't learned and is trying to take a short cute.

Theisman Moon and Flutie all came up here and demonstrated they were legit and went on to help their teams.

What a breathe of fresh air...

AJ McCarron wins grievance against Cincinnati Bengals, will be unrestricted free agent (http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/22456899/aj-mccarron-wins-grievance-cincinnati-bengals-unrestricted-free-agent)

Sounds like the exact opposite of what I'm use to hearing.
