Inside the 10 half of Smith's passes were TDs. KC was 1 in 3. Smith had 5 ints none in the red zone. KC had 3 in the red zone alone. Gruden can win with Smith.

Agree. The difference is mobility.

Kelce and Reed, equal red zone targets. Even if you excuse Cousins for games when Reed didn’t play, the red zone numbers are still better.

Fucking great observation, I didn’t think of that.

I can’t take credit saw it on Twitter. It’s interesting though.

I will be interested to see if going to a new team and presumably a long term deal helps him by reducing outside pressures

Yes this was definitely a personality thing. He struggled in Week 1 and Week 2 games too, it’s like he needed to get his feet wet to feel fully comfortable.

It looks like it is Fuller after all. He tweeted that he hasn’t been told so he’s trying to find out what’s going on.

But Schefter and Rap Sheet continue to report it.

Damn dude. We have got to be the worst team at trading.

This trade looks like a Snyder and Allen smokescreen to cover up their failure with Cousins. While we trade a 3rd and ?someone? for very good QB Alex Smith, meanwhile Cousins walks with at best a 3rd or so comp pick for us?

Getting an older cheaper QB that his old team apparently was dumping anyways (for Patrick Mahomey), doesn't seem like a recipe for success. Smith is underrated, he's better than a "checkdown Charlie" type player, but not the long ball threat Cousins is. Guess since our only deep threat WR can't hold on to the ball, this isn't an issue? lol.

How the fuck do we give up the best slot corner in the game for an old qb?

Fuller was an impact player for us.

That's impressive, I could sworn he wasn't that good watching him, happy to be wrong here.
