I don't see how this benefits the Skins in any way. Everyone keeps talking about this hypothetical situation with Denver where the skins will get Talib in order to save face. IMO the broncos are going to have to cut players to make room for KC. We can get Talib for less if we wait them out in FA than doing a trade and agreeing to his current cap hit of 12 mil. If he is cut he can be signed for less.

One reason why the #Redskins won't actually franchise tag and trade Kirk Cousins: If he gets tagged/traded, he won't negotiate at all with the new team. He'll play on $34M for one year.I figured that is the word his agent put out. I can see the Skins avoiding players rep by these guys for awhile.

KC has been consistent for the past 3 years that he wants to hit free agency and see his value. He also has been consistent that if he's tagged he will sign the tag and play under the tag. Nothing in his position has changed over the past 3 years. Thank goodness this will all be done in less than a month.
