I was looking at the career splits for KC and AS, just out of curiosity and a few things stood out to me that I thought I would share.
KC has 96 less total games, so carried out to match the same number of games, he would have about 8000 more yards then AS. That's a lot of production.
KC's Completion percentage is a good cut above AS's (65.5 to 62.37)
KC is horrid Mon and Thursday (in win loss records not stats, he is 1 - 10 in 11 Monday or Thursday games with 13 INTs to 17 TDs)
AC is better (13 - 8, 12 INTs to 26 TDs)
KC has much more of a swing in his completion percentage through the season - breaking it by quarters or months his completion % difference is nearly 6 percentage point difference. AS is more consistent - only a 2% difference.
Neither does well in dome or retractable roofs (bit odd I think) KC is 1-8 all time, AS is 11 - 13.
I know these are just stats. I just found them interesting in seeing what we might be getting. I think the best way to sum it up is a slightly lesser quality but a lot more consistent passer.

Being JACKED to be a Redskin:
Kirk Cousins: 0
Alex Smith: 1
That's my favorite stat in favor of AS.

Zero chance Kirk's deal doesn't exceed JG's.
Aren't you the same guy that said JG would only get $20 mil a year? I don't know why you don't realize JG has started his career like no other and the sky is the limit. While at the same time Kirk has limitations and will never sniff elite (top 5) status. Kirk is no bum, but he is fringe top 10 and will rise no higher.

I thought JG’s ceiling was Carr’s number to be honest... but I’m not overly surprised. Just like it won’t be a surprise when Kirk tops it. I think it’s a bit silly to say Kirk can’t continue to improve his game.

I want to believe that too, but just the fact that he had to go through "star trek vulcan mind tricks" to the tune that he has to structure every moment of his life in order to not be raddled come game time, makes me wonder. That's a little bizarre to me. I admit I don't know all the details about this discipline of his, but I don't think all the other QBs in the league have to do this in order to perform at the highest level.
^ I don’t see what that has to do with anything about him playing QB at a high level. Everyone has their own routines or quirks.

Seems a bit strange to me too, that someone would plan each day out to the minutes. That would drain the crap out of me. Kirk just seems like an uptight, overly structured human being. IDK, I just prefer someone like a Russell Wilson, Watson or Wentz type of QB, where they aren't so scripted and can make big plays and break a defense down on their own. I sorta feel like Gruden wants a guy like that too and is why they got Smith.

I would agree with you if that's the way Kirk has lived his entire life, but that's not the case. He brought that into his life after he had those stint of games where he was throwing a lot of interceptions and was benched for a while. That offseason is when he went out and found this new routine that he uses.

Worked for Jerry Rice. Obviously has worked for Tom Brady. There's just some people who thrive with structure and others who are more freelancers. I don't really see it as strange. If my day is not planned out (maybe not to the minutes, but to an extent), then I'll wind up wasting a lot of time posting on internet forum........eh......nevermind.

If it works for him I don’t get the big deal, it sounds odd but who cares
