Why would Kirk screw over the team he wants to go to, forcing them to give the Skins draft picks? Instead of just signing with them as a FA?

I thought that was covered under the 99% probability I gave of it not happening? Just saying never say never.

Well, I'm sure we could come up with many reasons why there's practically no chance. Just wanted to add another.

After the performance Foles had in the Superbowl, no doubt a few teams who may have been watching what happens with Kirk might now reach out to Philly. He will be a lot cheaper money wise and draft pick wise than Kirk. Can't help but wonder if this at least hurts his value a little bit. Seems like Cousins' potential future market seems to dry up day by day.

Foles is probably as good as Kirk TBH, and Alex Smith. So I wouldn't doubt it, and I still say the JETS land kirk because they will offer the most

A lot of NFL teams will be enamored by Foles performance in the SB. However, I doubt the Iggles would get rid of him while Wentz is rehabbing. It will be an interesting offseason for them.

I wouldn't doubt the Eagles get rid of Foles. If they don't, they get nothing for him next year. What the Eagles could do is trade him during next season. Have him start the season if Wentz isn't ready, and trade him once Wentz is back.

Why would a SB MVP be a lot cheaper?

Kirk is going to be an unrestricted free agent, he’s not going to cost anything draft pick wise. Foles will have to come via a trade and I don’t think the Eagles will just give him away.

Is it pretty much a certainty that the Eagles will trade Foles this off-season?
And the trade deal would have Foles signed to a LTD With another team?

Wentz went down with an ACL injury late in the season. If Wentz shows any signs of not being ready by the start of the season, Foles will likely be retained (unless he sits out and starts demanding to be traded).

Absolutely not. I believe, at minimum, the Eagles ask for a 2nd and 3rd for Foles. Having said that, unless the Eagles restructure his contract, he's going to be a free agent in 2019 with the final three years of his contract void. So, there's a bit of an urgency for the Eagles to trade him to get top value now, as opposed to letting him out right walk in 2019.
