lol at anyone who thinks Cousins talk ends on March 7
Hey, don't kill my dreams man.
And I didn't say we would stop talking about him, just that he wouldn't have his own thread. If you're not on the team you should not have a personal thread. He will be a general NFL player.

Thanks for letting me know that my other post are ok by you.
By the way Kirk is only part of the problem with what happened. His agent who used to be an Eagles personnel guy I also hold responsible and Shanahan.

Seriously, how is Kirk's agent at fault for anything???

Dan73,
I apologize for blaming you for reviving this thread. My uncalled for comments about your posts were simply not true. This thread has a life of its own and it would have continued if you had never posted on it.
But that's not the point. The point is I was wrong to direct any criticism towards you at all. Just because I want to move on from Kirk doesn't mean that anyone else should feel the way I do. I shouldn't have clicked on this thread to begin with and I certainly shouldn't have posted anything at all about what you choose to post.
From now on, I'll strive to keep my mind open and my mouth shut about other posters. No worries.
I go out and look for articles on past stuff anyways.
Yesterday I was reading up on the Fassel drama.

Seriously, how is Kirk's agent at fault for anything???If he has over sold Kirk on his value then he shares part of the blame.

He is Kirk's agent, over selling Kirk is exactly his job.
If he wasn't, Kirk should fire him and get someone who would.

Wow. Just wow.Not if he is lying to his client. Telling him he is worth more money then he is.

He has averaged better than top 10 in AAV over the last two years as a good not great QB.
Seems like his agent is doing really well seeing as how his sole job is to get his client paid.

Sent from my SM-G955W using TapatalkI get what you are trying to say, in terms of KC and his value absent the FT. But the fact is Kirk could walk away now and have pocketed over 50 million on his first contract as a 4th rounder. In the current CBA era, any agent that told him to do otherwise would not have been doing him any favors either. It's just as plausible his agent was telling him that, while the Skins offer was low his record and bad games could be keep the offers from reaching the value of the franchise tag and the Skins oline is a good pass protecting line so the risk was worth the upfront cash and let FA come later.
