Only the self-appointed experts on this site could over-value their own opinions enough to question Ryan Kerrigan (or any other Redskins player) being named a Pro Bowl starter.
lol
I’ll never quite understand why he’s so under appreciated

LOL Nobody is claiming to be an expert on here, RK is a good player I don't think anyone has said hes a bum, but hes 19th in sacks (10th in the nfc) in fact he has just 2 more sacks than PSmith who most here say is a BUM.... The guy has one move and if he can't get away from the Tackle he's basically just stuck there.
Still a Pro Bowler, 4th time now I believe

yes he is and top 100 player in the league, still frustrating when he gets shut out but maybe I just have to settle for him having 10 a year.

He's very solid to above average, but the best pass rusher (worthy of being named 1 of 2 starters at outside linebacker? No. I am not saying he's not PB-worthy, just that he hasn't been one of the two best outside linebackers in the NFC this year.

RK is a very good player and pro bowler...I think this team and its fans really yearn to have that dominating defensive line/pass rusher again. Its been so long.
If Preston Smith can be more consistent, if Jonathan Allen can return healthy, if Innonaidis can build off this breakout year....if if if
If Allen and Matty I stay healthy next year everything else will fall in place. Smith was really benefiting from their play early on.

How did Zach Brown not make it? I don't understand that.

If we stay in the 3-4, the next step is a space eater at NT and that could propel the entire d-line. We get blown off the los in the middle of this Dline way too often on first and second downs.
If we move to 4-3, this wouldn't be a need. Allen, Matty, McGee, Lanier, McClain would be a solid rotation at DT.

Lanier you could play at left DE in a 4-3. The Phillip Daniels / Renaldo Wynn spot. You want that player capable of rushing the passer and pushing the pocket but you want them more stout than a 250 pound speed rushing end. They have to set the edge.
A guy like Galette wouldn't fit will in a 4-3. Which is fine, obv.
Or maybe you let Kerrigan take that spot and find a superstar speed rushing type on the other side. Ideally.
