As bad as the Boys look these days, I’ll bet they’re plenty motivated after being embarrassed at home this week. And it’s us. I really hope we continue to sprinkle in some young talent going forward I see what you did there. skinsfaninok 12-08-2017, 12:22 PM Jordan Reed's continued absence has impact on Vernon Davis' production - Washington Redskins Blog- ESPN (http://www.espn.com/blog/washington-redskins/post/_/id/34833/jordan-reeds-continued-absence-impacts-vernon-davis-production) skinsfan69 12-08-2017, 02:18 PM They have to re negotiate Reed's contract. He showed up to camp w/ a toe issue and it's been downhill since. How do you hurt your toe and you're not even getting hit? Plus he's got the concussion issues. IDK, I'd rather have someone that's a more complete player that can stay on the field, rather than one who's hurt all the time, can't block and may have to retire if he takes another hit to the head. skinsfaninok 12-08-2017, 02:59 PM They have to re negotiate Reed's contract. I'd rather have about 10 TE's right now over him, he is made of glass and can't block for crap. Good player for 4-5 games a yr then he's out for the rest Chico23231 12-08-2017, 03:20 PM I like Sprinkle..continue to coach up...V Davis is coming back next year...and let Jordan Reed heal up...I wouldn't change anything. Nile Paul has been good, but time to move on...maybe spend a late round pick for a practice squad type TE if one seems coachable with promise. CRedskinsRule 12-08-2017, 05:00 PM The toe issue was bigger and he tried to go on it which probably led to the the constant hamstring issues this year. Give him an offseason of rest and rehab and next year he will be a top 5 TE again. Buffalo Bob 12-08-2017, 05:41 PM 5th year in the league, he misses an average of 5-6 games a year and isn't 100% for many of the games he has played in. He has never played a full season. I seriously doubt he is suddenly going to have better luck staying on the field as he gets older, I think it is time to move on from him. over the mountain 12-08-2017, 05:43 PM I think our pass catching TEs have diminished our ability to run. How much, idk. Id look to get a good well rounded, 3 down TE. Cooley is big on the Wisky TE Troy Fumagali. About the 3rd rated TE in the draft. |
