Still feel like that was a dream. Has been a really long time since I have seen our defense shutdown a good offense like that. Maybe the most dominant I have ever seen from a Skins team. And for our offense and defense to be clicking in the same game was just heavenly. I have seen us look good before only to inexplicably shit the bed in following weeks but that was such an ass kicking that I have some kool aid free swagger today as a Skins fan. HTTR!

What is getting lost in that performance by the D was the performance of our offense. My goodness they were well balanced. Kirk was unbelievable. The o line was kicking butt. CT is a damn star. If we beat the Chiefs next week I am going to get straight stupid about the very near future of this team.

Not to move past this too quickly, but the Chiefs will also be a big test (win that game, and even Redskins haters will have to concede we're legit). Interestingly, the Chiefs have a bend-don't-break defense -- they give up the 5th most amount of yards per game, but are #10 in points per game: ational Football League Stats - by Team Category | NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=false&conference=null&role=OPP&offensiveStatisticCategory=null&defensiveStatisticCategory=GAME_STATS&season=2017&seasonType=REG&tabSeq=2&qualified=false&Submit=Go)
This is a D that can be beat if we make the most of our opportunities. Having had a bunch of bend-don't-break defenses of our own over the years, I never think that is terribly sustainable. But winning in Arrowhead has proved really, really hard, and keeping up this kind of momentum may be pretty hard as well.

Tough task for sure, and I wouldn't presume to win in Arrowhead. But I sure as hell like our chances a lot more today than I did yesterday morning!

Beating the Raiders is like stealing a game. We all play the game when the schedule is released, that's a win, that's a loss, that's a win, that's a win, that's a loss...
Every one of us would have had the Raiders as a stone loss. We won one we weren't expected to.
One game at a time, but string together a couple of those this season and that's the kind of thing that makes you start to dream...
If there's anything that will propel this team to new heights, it will be rallying around an identity: hit harder, fight harder, fight longer. Win in the trenches, let everything else take care of itself.
