I honestly don't fault Eli there, he knows he's not going to escape so why risk taking a big hit. QBs take sacks all the time.

On the Dallas sacks I agree, but this one, had he stayed up there was space for him to run or pass. He might even have scrambled for the first down, there was that much open space in front of him. (I know open space closes fast in the NFL) Chico23231 09-20-2017, 09:16 AM Robert Griffin III says former Washington Redskins teammate Santana Moss lied about QB taking credit for Mike Shanahan firing in 2013 (http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/20756695/robert-griffin-iii-says-former-washington-redskins-teammate-santana-moss-lied-qb-taking-credit-mike-shanahan-firing-2013) This is pretty hilarious. Idc about looking bad in the media on this one, we already look bad for the whole RG3 fiasco. I'm glad we drafted Kirk, otherwise it could be a hell of a lot worse. Florio posted like 3 articles about this bs yesterday...didn't click on one Chico23231 09-20-2017, 09:17 AM I honestly don't fault Eli there, he knows he's not going to escape so why risk taking a big hit. LOL, kinda looked like the sack Strahan got on Brett Farve to set the record. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_C2W62HNNsc mredskins 09-21-2017, 08:36 AM I am leaving work early today to take a nap so I am all fresh for the TNF game tonight. SF vs. LAR; BAM! Can't wait. Seriously is the worst matchup every week just automatically the TNF game. MTK 09-21-2017, 09:12 AM It's yet another shitty TNF matchup but I'm kind of looking forward to McVay vs Shanahan mredskins 09-21-2017, 10:04 AM It's yet another shitty TNF matchup but I'm kind of looking forward to McVay vs Shanahan And PG in action. OMG! We are junkies! There is really no reason to watch this for the average fan. Schneed10 09-21-2017, 11:02 AM It's yet another shitty TNF matchup but I'm kind of looking forward to McVay vs Shanahan I'm interested in that aspect too, but also just to see another game to gauge how good the Rams are. Like, did we beat a shitty team or a mediocre one? That helps inform us in making a judgment on the Redskins - how good are we? Did we need a final TD drive in the 4th quarter to beat a 4-12 type team, or did we need it to beat a 9-7 type team? If they're a 9-7 team they'll wax the 49ers. Of course the 49ers pushed the Seahawks pretty hard so WTF do I know about them? I guess I'm a junkie too, lol. |
